FAT32.IFS user mailing list
We have also setup a Yahoo! group to try and help users of the new FAT32.IFS versions, especially due to the WarpIN package issues. This is THE place to get support.
Just as with the development group, everyone is invited to join.
While we think if this group should also be merged here at Netlabs eventually, it will work independently by the moment, so it has been protected against spam and has approval-based membership.
WPI Distro
From now (2003/10/08) on, the new releases of the FAT32.IFS driver packaged in WarpIN format will be distributed as a part of the WPI Distro.
The main goal of this project (which is basically a large collection of ready-to-go .wpi packages) is to provide as many OS/2 applications as possible packaged in a way so that application
installation [deployment] can be done with the following conditions:
- The best possible organization according to each user's criterion.
- It must be as fast as possible.
- It must save as much user's effort as possible.
To achieve this goal we are trying to develop a hierarchical system of mutually supportive but still self-sufficient packages to deploy the applications.
The WPI Distro project is maintained entirely (by the moment) by Alfredo Fernndez Daz and any feedback regarding it should be directly sent to him.
Everyone's invited to join and/or collaborate.
FAT32 development mailing list
We have setup a Yahoo! group to try and coordinate efforts in developing a FAT32.IFS driver for eCS and OS/2 Warp, documenting and packing it. Everyone is invited to join. test
Though the group will eventually be fully merged here at Netlabs, it will work independently for some time, so it has been protected against spam and has approval-based membership.
